Poverty is a mental state and even the most unfavorable situation can be reverted through the power of will.

That is the feeling and the way of thinking that Casa Huerta will bring into the world.

Our mission is to inspire people to live creatively, use their inner power, and utilize resources efficiently.

Eco Domes at Cal-Earth - Hesperia, Ca.

“Casa Huerta” will be an educational human scale farm, sustainable, where people in general and especially children that live in poverty will flourish.

We will teach trough the reconnection with nature, awakening our creativity, being present in our daily work. We teach with our example.

Casa Huerta will provide a safe, creative and nurturing environment to facilitate children heal in connection with nature and the arts.

We will work in connection with local agencies and regional agencies that work with children that are orphans or live in poverty. In a first stage of operation we will invite them to visit the Casa Huerta to enjoy a vacation time, where they could reconnect with nature while learning some practical skill, like bake bread, build with adobe, or transplant a seedling, etc
In a second stage we will receive children to live at the Casa Huerta on permanent basis.

We will create income through the rent of the lodging, through workshops and retreats offered at The CASA HUERTA, we will sell home prepared food, produce and hand made products created at the CASA HUERTA.
