Daniela Yanez is a multidisciplinary self thought artists, mother of two, Tawa 3, Lua 9 months.
She was born in Buenos Aires Argentina, 1972. She relocated to Los Angeles California in 2000 where she currently resides with her husband Albert and children.
The story of her father as an orphan influenced her life and her way of thinking about poverty and people.
Her search for truth and life integrity is taking her to pursue the creation of the CASA Huerta.
She had been getting ready for this endeavor in many ways.
She is a Cal Earth apprentice, 2006.
Master Gardener USC Cooperative extension 2007.
She is a resident of St Elmo’s Village, a non-profit organization whose purpose is the unification of humanity, since 2005.
She had been offering photography and creative movement workshops at St Elmo’s Village, Oasis Senior Center, Alta Loma School, and several childcare and private schools, always focusing in the empowerment of people through the awakening of their inner creativity.
She had been researching alternative ways of community efficient living by visiting:

- Los Angeles Ecovillage
- The solar living institute
- Camino Abierto (Argentina)
- Hopi reservation, Arizona
She worked in advertising photography for many years, founding her own advertising studio in Buenos Aires in 1997, experience that trained her as a business entrepreneur.
